Part of Moss Street is closed near its intersection with Acorn Street.
DOTD crews are on the scene of some damage in the road, but by 1 p.m. the repairs were complete and they were waiting for the asphalt to cool, a spokeswoman said.
The repairs should be ready for traffic, and the road reopened, around 5 p.m., she said.
The damage occurred early Tuesday, she said.
