LAFAYETTE PARISH, La. — Lafayette Parish School System issued a cold weather dress code update allowing students to wear sweatpants to school on Monday due to the cold weather.
Students are already permitted to wear jeans under LPSS policy. Students in kindergarten through fifth grade may wear jackets or coats with hoods. Students in grades six through 12 may wear jackets or coats, but they must be hoodless.
