The building that formerly housed Piccadilly on Coolidge Boulevard in Lafayette will soon be home to an IT solutions company called RADER.

Officials with the company say the 10,200 square foot building will allow for an expanded Security and Network Operations Centers. RADER currently employs more than 40 people and plans on continued growth.

RADER was founded in 2002 by Chris Rader. The company now serves more than 130 clients in 21 states. They offer technical support, communication options, strategic technological planning, and cybersecurity.

"The growth that made this move necessary is exciting, but we want to make sure that it makes us better," says RADER President Jacob Landry. "Our business strategy is focused on stable growth, and this is the next step to better serve our RADER team members and our partners who have made this possible. We expect to have an even more collaborative service environment while meeting the unique needs of our rapidly growing cyber-security division."

RADER says it chose the location at 838 Coolidge Blvd. because of its proximity to UL Lafayette, I-49 and I-10, and the Lafayette Regional Airport.

Piccadilly closed its doors on Coolidge Blvd. in October.
