1/2 stick melted butter (melted)
1 1/4 cups + 2 tbsp of sugar
1 cup self-rising flour
1 cup whole milk
2 cups blueberries
Whipped cream or ice cream to serve
Preheat oven to 350° and grease a baking dish.
In a medium sized bowl, mix 1 cup of sugar into your flour, then add milk. Whisk to combine, then slowly add melted butter.
Rinse your blueberries and pat dry. Pour batter into your baking dish, and add blueberries evenly on top. Sprinkle 1/4 cup of sugar, then bake for 40 minutes. Sprinkle remaining sugar over the top and bake for an additional 5-8 minutes until golden brown. Serve hot.
