A former Iota Police Department officer has been arrested for stalking another IPD officer as well as hate crimes.
On Monday, the IPD arrested former police officer Bryce Ewing for stalking with the added criteria of a hate crime, according to the Iota Police Department's Facebook page.
Ewing allegedly stalked an off-duty IPD officer several times and made several threats to him before being arrested and booked into the Acadia Parish Jail.
According to court records, Ewing's bond for the stalking charge was set at $2500. No bond has been set for his hate crime charge.
