Mamou Police are investigating a shooting death that happened Tuesday night.
Officers were called to a home on Railroad Avenue around 7:15 p.m. Tuesday; they found a man, Allan Thomas, suffering from a gunshot wound. Thomas was transported to a local hospital, where he later was pronounced deceased.
The incident is being investigated as a homicide, and officers are asking that anyone with information about the shooting call them at 337-468-5221.
