LAFAYETTE — Billy Napier has not been afraid to praise Ohio starting quarterback Nathan Rourke.

"He's smart, knows his system well, he's accurate and efficient."

Rourke is a third year starter for Ohio and his 83 touchdowns are the most all-time. He is a duel-threat quarterback who leads the Bobcats in both rushing and passing. For his career, he averages 70 rushing yards a game. He has 38 career rushing touchdowns. You can see why Billy Napier praises him.

But Louisiana has done a fantastic job through three games at containing quarterback runs. Opposing quarterbacks have netted just 9 rushing yards this year. Louisiana has also recorded 7 sacks.

"We're much better in terms of rush lanes and all those things. We're keeping the guys in the pocket," he said. "It's another way you can affect the quarterback. Push the pocket, tip the ball, hit the quarterback. Takeaways start the way with affecting the quarterback."
