Two nights of good old fashioned high school football fun kicks off tonight at Cajun Field.
On Thursday, August 29 and Friday, August 30, twelve area teams will face-off during the Kiwanis Club of Lafayette's 2019 Kiwanis Club Jamboree.
This is the 68th year for the jamboree and is one of the club's premiere fundraiser events. Every dollar raised during the jamboree will go back into the community.
Gates open at 5:00 pm with kickoff beginning at 6:00 pm. Tickets are only $10 for each day's games.

GAMES
Thursday, August 29 match-ups include:
- Game 1 - CECILIA v. Lafayette
- Game 2 - CARENCRO v. Breaux Bridge
- Game 3 - COMEAUX v. Northside
Games set for Friday, August 30, 2019.
- Game 1 - NOTRE DAME v. Southside
- Game 2 - ACADIANA v. Teurlings
- Game 3 - ST. THOMAS MORE v. St. Martinville
PARKING
Parking on Thursday will be available in spaces surrounding all of Cajun Field. Football fans may park where ever spots are open at the field.
On Friday, however, a concert at the Cajun Dome will restrict parking to the Bertrand side of Cajun Field to those attending the Jamboree.
Fans are asked to enter the parking lot from Gate C which is located on the Bertrand side of the field.
