On Friday, Silverbacks Improv Theatre will host their Improv Rumble at the Acadiana Center for the Arts.
The event will pit four performing teams against each other in an “all-out brawl,” vying for audience votes to be claimed victor.
KATC’s Scott Brazda caught up with the master improvisers to learn more about the event and what it takes to be number one in improv theater.
The Improv Rumble is interactive, with audience members placing their votes for their favorite performances via cell phone.
Twenty-five comedy performers including groups from all across Louisiana will take the stage in hopes to be announced as the winner at the show’s end.
Improv games will feature throughout the show.
The event begins at 7:30 pm on Friday, February 8 at Acadiana Center for the Arts. Tickets are $12.
