The Christian Youth Theater of Lafayette will present The Wizard of Oz beginning tonight at Angelle Hall on UL Lafayette’s campus.
The classic tale follows Dorothy on her journey through the land of Oz with a cast of quirky characters including, Scarecrow, Tinman, Cowardly Lion, and the Wicked Witch of the West.
KATC’s Scott Brazda caught up with the cast on Thursday morning as the production prepares for their first show.
The production will run from Thursday, October 18 until Sunday, October 21 at Angelle Hall located on St. Mary Blvd on UL Lafayette’s campus.
Tickets for the show are $16 and $14 for children ages 12 and under. Tickets are $18 if purchased at the door.
