In a little over a month, Acadiana Animal Aid will present one of their largest fundraiser events, Bark in the Dark.
The event is scheduled for Thursday, September 26 from 6:00 pm to 9:30 pm in the UL Lafayette Ballroom.
The fundraiser is the largest event benefiting Acadiana Animal Aid. Director Heidi Paterson says that the event is the a great way for those who are unable to adopt or foster animals to give back.
All funds go directly to the operation of the shelter and animal transport program. Money raised during last year's event went to save almost 3,000 cats and dogs in the Acadiana area.
Tickets are available for purchase online. Sponsorship opportunities are also still available for those interested.
Paterson says that there will be a live auction during the event featuring prizes including trips, jewelry, and art. Entertainment and a four-course French meal will be provided for the evening.
