Women's Foundation to host 10th annual OBGYN Conference

On Saturday, August 10th, Woman's Foundation is hosting their annual OB/GYN Conference at the Petroleum Club in Lafayette.

Sally Sabandith, Marketing and Communications Coordinator at Women's Foundation joined GMA to share more on the upcoming conference.

The conference is focused on providing continuing medical education credits to physicians, nurses, and other healthcare providers working in obstetrics, gynecology, women's health, and labor and delivery. Speakers from around Louisiana and Nashville, TN will cover a broad range of issues on women's health.

This year's topics include menopause, substance abuse during pregnancy, health and nutrition, and OB mortality. There will be several exhibitors present that attendees can visit.

Complimentary mimosas and breakfast will be served.

The cost of attendance varies on profession: $30 for Doctors, $25 for Nurse Practitioners, $20 for Nurses, $10 for Residents, and $10 for Nursing students. Retired nurses and physicians are also invited to attend the conference.

The conference will begin at 7:00 am and end at 12:30 pm.
