Unitech Training Academy's Vampire's Ball is back. The event takes place on October 19, from 7:00 pm to 11:00 pm at River Oaks Catering and Event Center in Lafayette.
Deanna Head and Jennifer Ercoli sat down with our Dave Baker to share more.
The Ball is themed "Voodoo on the Bayou" and organizers say it's guaranteed to take your senses to another level. The night starts off with an interactive story depicting the life and magic of Marie Laveau and continues with cocktails, food, and music by the Krossfire Band.
An on-site psychic on site will offer a glimpse into the future for those brave enough to look beyond.
Rounding out the night will be a silent auction.
All proceeds from the Ball will go towards the Animal Rescue Foundation of Louisiana (ARF-LA) and their mission is to provide care, shelter, and medical attention for stray, abandoned, and unwanted dogs, and then place them in loving homes through their adoption process.
Dress attire for the ball is creative cocktail. Guests are encouraged to put on their favorite cocktail attire and embellish it with voodoo fun (ie: turbans, hats, alligator skin purse, feathers etc..)
Tickets are $60 per individual and $100 per couple.
Each person attending with an individual ticket will receive two drink tickets redeemable for beer and wine only. Each couple will receive four. Other cocktails can be purchased with cash.
Tickets are available on Eventbrite.
