Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns Football season starts his month, and UL Lafayette Cheerleaders Jessica Allen and Zane Hogue stopped by GMA to share a few important dates.
The Ragin' Cajuns will kick off the 2019 football season with a UL Fan Day on Sunday, August 18 at the Cajundome Convention Center. Doors open at 11:00 am.
The university says that the first 3,000 people to arrive for Fan Day will receive a free T-Shirt. Attendees will have the opportunity to meet the Ragin' Cajun football coach, volleyball players, soccer team, football players, and the Ragin' Cheerleading squad. Organizers say the event will be fun for fans of all ages.
UL Lafayette's first football game will be held at the Mercedes Benz Super Dome in New Orleans on August 31. The Ragin' Cajuns will play against Mississippi State. Cajuns fans are encouraged to attend to help cheer their team on to a victory.
On September 7, the Cajuns will host the first home game of the season at Cajun Field against Liberty University.
