On Tuesday, students at St. Mary Early Learning Center in Lafayette received a lesson in meteorology from KATC's Dave Baker.
Stepping away from the anchor desk, Dave donned his meteorologist uniform to talk weather and how it works with 3, 4, and 5-year-old students.
Topics of the day included sunshine, clouds, wind and storms with a little lesson on tornadoes and hurricanes.
And, even though we're now headed into Spring, students had the chance to discuss winter weather in Acadiana.
