St. Thomas More High School in Lafayette is hosting their annual African American Catholic Youth Congress.
This event offers a day of prayer, reflection, worship, music, inspiring speakers, and and an opportunity for young Catholic leaders to network and interact with each other.
While the event is sponsored by the Office of Black Catholic Ministries of the Diocese of Lafayette, the event is open to all people regardless of race.
It is sponsored by the Catholic Extension and hosted by the Diocese of Lafayette's Office of Black Catholics.
This year's conference will be held on Saturday, November 23 from 8 a. m. to 6 p. m.
