After assessing damages from Hurricane Delta, the St. Landry Parish School System has decided to close all schools, head start centers, and the Virtual Learning Academy on Tuesday, October 13, 2020.
Officials say a large number of our employees and families and some of the schools are still without power. There also have rural roads that are impassable and a loss of connectivity in areas of the parish.
While all schools are closed, the following personnel are to report to their school sites and district offices on Tuesday to continue their damage assessments and open facilities for cleanup and repairs:
