SLCC's honors society Phi Theta Kappa has created a food pantry for students to grab quick and easy food on campus.
This service is essential for some students, who may have a hard time getting their hands on groceries while focusing on classes and paying for school.
The food pantry supply tends to deplete itself in the course of a week, and to make sure it stays full through the holidays, Phi Theta Kappa is holding a food drive.
It will be Wednesday, November 25, 12 p.m. - 3 p.m. in Parking Lot I at SLCC's Lafayette Campus. This is the first parking lot on the right when you turn onto Devalcourt from Bertrand Drive.
