Tuesday, July 23 marks week five of Healing House's ABSOLUT Best Martini Tour.
Today, patrons of Ruffino's can partake in the 8-week long fundraiser by downloading a $2 voucher for the restaurant's signature martini, "The Geisha."
The drink is a plum and ginger martini made with ABSOLUT mandarin and topped with a blood orange foam.
Patrons can cast their vote for the drink by making a $1 donation at the restaurant. To download a voucher for the signature martini, visit healing-house.org.
Several restaurants have already shared their signature martinis with GMA. Those interested in tasting and voting for those martini's can do so by dropping by any of the participating restaurants and casting their $1 vote.
Participating restaurants include Walk-On's Bistreaux, Bon Temp Grill, Chuy's, Fezzo's, Ruffino's on the River, Bonefish Grill, Blue Dog Cafe, and Zea Rotisserie & Bar. Three restaurants, Bonefish, Blue Dog and Zea, will debut their signature martinis during the coming weeks.
Each restaurant is competing for the title of "Lafayette's ABSOLUT Best Martini." A winner will be announced at Healing House's Gala event on Saturday, August 17.
