The 4th Annual Ush One See 5K & 10K Walk/Run will be held on Saturday, September 21.

The first race begins at 7:30 am at River Ranch Town Square.

Ush One See, Inc. has already registered around 420 participants for Saturday's event.

Those wanting to participate have until noon on Wednesday, September 18 to register online. Registration will continue in-person at 6:30 on the morning of the event.

Registration is $35 for the 5K and $40 for the 10K.

The 10K begins at 7:30 am and the 5K begins at 8:15 am.

Funds raised by the races will go directly towards funding awareness and research for a cure for the vision loss aspect of Usher Syndrome, the world's leading deaf/blind disease, which is prevalent in the Acadiana region.

Around $100,000 has already been sent by the organization to researchers in New Orleans and Baton Rouge for the continued study of Usher Syndrome.
