The Rocky Horror Picture Show is heading to Cite Des Arts for three performances this week.

The Translyvanian Tramps will hold shadow cast performances on October 24, 25 and 26 at 10:00 pm.

The cast will be raising money for Mental Health First Aid in an effort to bring a trained instructor to Lafayette Parish to teach public school students about mental illness and helping those living with certain conditions.

According to their website, Mental Health First Aid is a skills-based training course that teaches participants about mental health and substance-use issues.

Entry is $10 at the door and five dollars for a prop bag. Donations of any amount will also be accepted.

Doors open at 9:30 pm.

The performances will be a shadow cast of the 1975 musical horror comedy film. The film will play in the background as the cast acts out the scenes on stage.
