Right now until February 1, 2020, Share Care USA along with HUT and the Iberia and Lafayette Councils on Aging are teaming to host their second blanket drive for senior citizens.
The organizations are accepting new and used blanket donations to benefit seniors in need during the winter months.
The four organizations gave out close to 100 blankets after last year's blanket drive. They hope to double or triple that number this year.
Donations can be dropped off at the following locations:
- Hand Up Thrift (HUT) at 105 Leonie St in Lafayette.
- Lafayette Council On Aging at 106 Industrial Parkway.
- Iberia Council on Aging at 126 W. Washington St. in New Iberia.
- Iberia Bank at 403 N Lewis St, in New Iberia
