Shelby Hebert and Aaron Broussard stopped by GMA to talk about NICU Moms of Louisiana and their inaugural Cajun Day Jambalaya Cook-Off.
The cook-off will take place on Saturday, September 28 at Acadian Village in Lafayette. Organizers say that everyone is invited to attend to enjoy jambalaya and live music.
Participants of all ages, whether amateur or professional, are invited to take part in the cook-off.
All contestants are asked to pre-register. A completed registration form and payment must be received prior to being considered an official participant in the cook-off.
The entry fee for teams to enter the cook-off is $75. 00 for a 2 to 4 person team.
Proceeds from the event benefit NICU Moms of Louisiana Inc. The nonprofit says that their mission is to provide mothers who have babies in the NICU with emotional and financial support.
