The National EMS Academy, a division of Acadian Companies, is holding free online information sessions in advance of the spring semester of EMT and paramedic classes.

The National EMS Academy is a partnership between South Louisiana Community College and Acadian Ambulance, founded in 2003 to educate and train students to become EMTs and paramedics.

Information sessions will be held on November 14 and December 2 at 2:00 pm.

There is no fee to sign up for the info-sessions and anyone is eligible to attend.

Sessions include information on course schedules, EMT hybrid program specifics, enrollment processes, current tuition, financial aid options and payment options.

Those interested can register online at becomeamedic.com.

The online sessions are mandatory for the enrollment process for the EMT and paramedic programs.

Space is limited and those interested in taking the course should register in advance.
