Debra Menard with the Krotz Springs Quilt Guild stopped by the show this morning to showcase one of the group's beautiful quilts and to share details about an event they are hosting this Saturday!
The Krotz Springs Quilt Guild will host their annual quilt show and sale this Saturday, July 13, from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm at the Gary Soileau Community Center in Krotz Springs. Guests are invited to enjoy handmade quilts and displays, needlework demonstrations and shopping at the silent auction and boutique. funds collected will go to help the children of St. Jude.
Over a hundred quilts will be on display and available for purchase during the show. A $1 raffle will also be held for the "Opportunity Quilt," which was showcased on GMA. A quilt auction at will take place at 11:30 am to benefit St. Jude Children's Hospital.
Other vendors selling quilts and other quilted items will be featured.
Entry into the show is $1. All of the proceeds from the entry fee will go to Breast Cancer Awareness.
