Krewe des Chien is in need of new members to fill it's canine court before the parade steps off in Downtown Lafayette.
Organizers say the krewe's court already has a queen but a king has not yet been crowned.
The parade has also put out a call for a canine grand marshal to help lead the parade down the route on Saturday, February 15.
The parade begins at 2:00 pm.
Membership for the krewe is $25.
Those interested in registering their pup can pick up a packet Monday, February 10th through Friday, February 14th at Abform Workwear in Lafayette or by calling 337-837-9675.

This year's parade will be led by a band from New Orleans and Lafayette Mayor-President Josh Guillory.
A special guest to the parade will be Gobi, the border terrier mix that was rescued by ultra marathon runner Dion Leonard after she began following him during a leg of the Gobi Desert Run in China in 2016.
A book, Finiding Gobi, was written by Leonard about the pup's desert run.
