Today's viral performance comes from New Iberia!
Freshman pitcher Brooklyn Burgess from New Iberia Senior High earned her first 7 inning win in high school softball against Notre Dame. Unfortunately, right after, her season was cut short. On March 13th she pitched against the Pios to win 8-6. Burgess threw 128 pitches and 69 strikes in this game. She has trained under her pitching coach Kelly Meche, her high school coach Mizti Lalande and her travel coach James Marks. Fortunately, Brooklyn can look forward to next season.
