Today's Cool School is Jesse Owens Elementary School in Gueydan.
Students in Mrs. Rani's class read a story called, "How To Catch A Turkey" by Adam Wallace and Andy Elkerton.
After reading the book the kids created their own turkey trap using Play-Doh, sticks, tape, construction paper, pipe cleaners aluminum foil and anything else they could find in the classroom.
No word yet if they were able to catch their own Thanksgiving Turkey!
