Today's Cool School is Gueydan High School.
Students in Mr. Tom Dillon's class completed a lesson about the "New African American Music Museum."
They learned about various types of music such as jazz, blues, and rap. And also reviewed various artists, instruments, and feelings associated with music.
A dance-off was held following completion of this lesson. The students had to plan it, determining the location, songs, accessories, judges, and choreography.
The event ended with students earning a medal for placing in the dance-off.
