The 20-day virtual scavenger hunt celebrating 20 years of Games of Acadiana is coming to an end.

The event, organized by Miles Perret Cancer Services, is free to play and features more than 50 mission and activities for families to participate in and potentially win prizes.

Over 50 prizes and one grand prize of $10,000 will be drawn at 10:00 am on August 29 on the MPCS Facebook and YouTube pages.

Participants have until 8:00 pm on Thursday, August 20 to complete enough missions to earn 10,000 points to receive one entry into the prize drawing.

Acadiana's Ultimate Scavenger Hunt began on August 1 and missions can be completed by downloading the free app, "GooseChase" from the Google Play or App Store.

All proceeds from the event will benefit Miles Perret Cancer Services and local families fighting cancer.
