Crowley Main Street Committee is celebrating its 20th anniversary with a number of events highlighting the beauty and revitalization of downtown.
The 2nd annual Kids Day on Main Street is one of those events. The fun takes place Saturday, August 17 from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm in Downtown Crowley.
26 businesses will be participating with activities and crafts planned for children and special deals for parents.
The entirety of N Parkerson Avenue from the Courthouse to E 2nd Street will be blocked off for this year's event.
Attendees will be able to stroll up and down the four blocks to participate in various activities including inflatables, a photo booth, petting zoo and dinosaur experience.
The Crowley Police, Fire Department and State Police will also be out with several vehicles teaching children and engaging with the public.
The event is free to attend.
