Over 4,000 tenth graders from Lafayette, Iberia, St. Martin, & Vermilion Parishes will get a chance to explore different career paths, visit with local companies, and learn about education requirements during the 2st annual Career Connections.
That event will take place at the Cajundome Convention Center on February 18.
And Organizers are asking businesses to sign up to participate. All career fields are welcomed
Those interested in securing a booth can register at lafayette.org/careerconnections.
In previous years, more than 90 career booths have filled the Cajundome Convention for students to explore.
Those booths have included a mix of professional and technical careers in areas like engineering and technology, business and finance, health and human services, and arts and humanities.
