This Sunday, Asbury United Methodist Church in Lafayette will host a performance of Handel's "Messiah" in the church's sanctuary.
Dr. Lee Cooke will conduct the church choir and members of the Acadiana Symphony Orchestra in the presentation of Handel's most famous composition, inclusive of the "Hallelujah" chorus.
Admission is free, and child care will be provided to families for free for children ages six months to sixth grade.
The concert begins at 6:30 p.m. Sunday at Asbury United Methodist Church at 101 Live Oak Boulevard.
