For designer items that you'll only wear once or twice, Rent the Runway is the perfect service.
The app has thousands of items from work clothes, to athletic wear, to formal gowns and accessories.
Items can be rented one item at a time, or through the app's "unlimited" route. The option charges a flat fee of $169 per month, going up by $39 for each additional item.
Selecting and ordering items through the app, they arrive to your doorstep in a package already prepped for returns.
When you're done with the rental, drop it back in the bag with the label provided by Rent the Runway. Then stop by any UPS location and send it off.
For unlimited memberships, users can keep an item for as long as they'd like, or swap it out right away with quick two-day shipping.
The app is great for events where you'll take a lot of pictures, like a wedding or a Mardi Gras Ball.
Abby says it's a service she's used since high school and that problems are minimal. There's even a customer service team to help with any issues should they occur.
