LAFAYETTE — This morning Scott Brazda brings us another addition of Spirit on Acadiana, showcasing Quick Slants 7-on-7 High School Football Tournament.
The tournament is a two-day extravaganza held at St. Thomas More's Cougar Stadium. This event gives players the opportunity to play against other people competitively and parents the opportunity to observe how their child handles the pressure of being on the football field. Overall, the 7-on-7 tournament gives young players great football experience, offense and defense.
This year, 27 teams in and out of Acadiana are scheduled to participate in Quick Slants 7-on-7. Smaller schools will play today from 5-9 pm and larger schools play tomorrow at the same time. Admission to the event is $5.
