On Sunday, October 27, the 3rd annual Halloween Festival gets underway at the Cade Community Center in St. Martinville.
The family-friendly event will take place from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm and feature performances from a local band, dance group, magician and schoolhouse safari.
One of Sunday's performers, Gerald Broussard Jr. joined GMA on Friday, October 25 with his group The Cajun Cowboy & The Stirrups for a taste of what festival-goers can expect.
A Halloween costume contest will take place at 2:00 pm for kids ages 0-12.
A cake walk and silent auction will also be held.
Entry into the Halloween Festival is $4 per person and organizers say that all proceeds will benefit St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
Consessions and carnival games will also be available.
