The Town of Gueydan and Vermilion Parish will host their 2nd annual Community Outreach Festival October 26 on the grounds of City Hall.
The event will feature live music and individual garage sales along with food and activities for children.
The music lineup includes the following performers. The first band begins at 9:00 am
- DJ Sandman - 9 am and between bands
- PaperJam - 10:00 am to 2:00 pm
- Ethan Hunt & Josh LeBlanc - 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm
- The Envies - 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm
Vendors will be selling arts and crafts, food, and other specialty items.
Organizers says the premise behind the event is to promote community support for Gueydan, its citizens and its businesses.
The hope is to bring together the community while drawing people in from surrounding communities to experience what Gueydan has to offer.
