On GMA this morning, Anna Olivier stopped in to chat about a project that is close to her heart: Windows for Widows.

Windows for Widows is a contest put on by Jim Olivier’s Home Improvement and was created by owner, Anna Olivier, eight years ago. The program is part of a family mission. Since her husband, Jim Olivier, passed away, Anna has grown to appreciate the difficulties faced when a loved one passes away.

She started the contest to give back to other widows or others in need. Each year, a nominee is selected to receive new windows for their home. The windows are energy efficient, which can cut back on the home’s bills as well as improve how the home may look. The winner’s Home Makeover will be completed by December 31st, 2019.

The Windows for Widows program seeks to help and lift our community as they work to strengthen our local community — including schools, locally owned businesses, charities, and also to do what we can to help those in our community that need special help . This program is one way they can give back and sow “good” into our community, and help to care for those in need.
