This morning, Dave Baker sat down with EatLafayette’s Ken Veron to chat about their big event happening tomorrow at the Cajundome.
One summer-long culinary celebration that has people smiling from ear to ear is EatLafayette, which takes place from June through September. Locals and visitors alike are invited to manger at over 100 locations of the area’s well known and not so well known locally owned eateries to celebrate Lafayette as one of the tastiest towns of the South.
The summer long EatLafayette campaign will kick off with a Taste of EatLafayette event in conjunction with the Louisiana Seafood Cook-Off on June 18 at the Convention Center. The tasting event offers a chance to sample the cuisine from some of the restaurants participating in EatLafayette while watching chefs from around the state to compete for the title of Louisiana Seafood King/Queen. Tickets are available for purchase by clicking here. This is event is for participants 21+ and only, no minors.
The event will kick off at 5:30pm and wrap up at 8:30pm.
Join EatLafayette tomorrow to support Lafayette’s one of a kind, locally owned restaurants! Tickets are $25 and can be purchased now on ticketmaster.
