For the third consecutive year, the Louisiana Seafood Cook-Off will be hosted in Lafayette.

On Tuesday, June 18, 14 Louisiana chefs will gather at the Cajundome Convention Center to compete for the title of King or Queen of Louisiana Seafood.

The winner will have the honor of representing Louisiana at the Great American Seafood Cook-Off taking place in New Orleans on August 3.

Last year, Blue Dog Cafe Executive Chef Ryan Trahan was crowned King of Louisiana Seafood.

KATC’s Abby Breidenbach was LIVE this morning with Prejean’s Chef, Quintin Scrantz, who will compete in this year’s cook-off.

This is the 12th year for the Louisiana Seafood Cook-Off. Those interested in purchasing a ticket can do so at louisianaseafood.com or at the door of the event. Doors open at 5:30 pm.
