This morning, Amanda Count with Olive Garden and her 13 year old son Nathaniel joined the show to celebrate Take Our Daughters and Sons to Work Day!

Designed to be more than a career day, the Take Our Daughters And Sons To Work program goes beyond the average practice of “shadowing” an adult. Exposing children to what a parent or mentor does during the work day is important, but showing them the value of their education, helping them discover the power and possibilities associated with a balanced work and family life, providing them an opportunity to share how they envision the future, and allowing them to begin steps toward their end goals in a hands-on and interactive environment is key to their achieving success.

To celebrate, the Amanda and her son demonstrated how to recreate one of Olive Garden’s guest-favorite dishes, Lasagna Classico!

Olive Garden is also offering their Early Dinner Duos. Guests can enjoy some of the restaurants most popular dishes, including the Lasagna Classico, starting at a low price on Monday through Thursday from 3pm to 5pm.
