Marshal Paul Mouton and Supervisor Easton Shelvin dropped by this morning to give us details on the Law Enforcement & Community Family Fun Day!

The Family Fun Day is presented by Ministries in Motion and the hope is that the event can help stop violence in Opelousas. The purpose of the event is to bring family fun, enjoyment, and happiness to the community, and to help form a positive relationship between law enforcement and the community.

Mayor Julius Alsandor, Chief Martin McClendon, and Marshall Paul Mouton will all be in attendance. Local pastors will be at the event and speaking out to the public. And to make things more fun, the mayor has a surprise for everyone in attendance.

The entire event is FREE. Fun jumps, food, and more will all be provided.

If you want to show love instead of violence, go to the Law Enforcement & Community Family Fun Day on April 13, 2019, from 12 pm to 4 pm at the Opelousas North City Park
