Southern Board Game Festival kicks off this Saturday, March 30 at the UL Student Union.
KATC’s Abby Breidenbach was LIVE Tuesday morning with more on what attendees can expect.
The festival gets underway at 8:45 am and will continue until 10:00 pm. With over 200 unique board games, organizers say there will be games for every style and expert level.
The all-day event is set up as a way to introduce gamers to fun and interesting board games. “Game Experts” will even be on hand to help guide attendees through the board games they choose to undertake.
The 12-hour of open play will feature tournaments, giveaways, and other game-related events, according to organizers.
Gamers must be 14 years or older to attend. All attendees must pre-register for the event.
