Susan Fisher stopped by this morning to chat about the Lafayette Historic Azalea Trail. March 9, 2019 is Azalea Trail Day! The day is packed with activities for all.
Enjoy scenic landscapes and the hidden beauty of Lafayette as we cruise through the Azalea Trail.
The bicycle and classic car cruise will leave from the tourist center at 2 pm. Cars can start registering at around 1:15 pm. Anyone with a car from 1957 or before is invited to join and ride the beautiful Azalea trail. If you do not have access to a “classic” car, there is another option!
Scott Schilling, with TRAIL, gave us information on the bicycle inclusion this year! The bicyclist will be converging with the cars and exploring the trails.
The event will also have a costume contest for all participants!
Classic Cars and Cyclists will meet AFTER the ride at Parc San Souci
for food, drinks, prizes, and more!
