In Motion Dance LLC will hold their first regional dance competition at The Acadiana Center for the Arts on Sunday, April 14.
Abby Breidenbach was LIVE this morning with In Motion Dance founders Brittany Benjamin and Lydia Young who shared more on the upcoming competition.
The event is a new dance competition that is calling on Acadiana’s most elite dancers to come together and showcase their talent. Dancers from companies and studios across the region are asked to consider signing up to compete.
The competition is open to dancers ages 8 to 18. Dancers can compete in several categories including modern, musical theatre, acro, contemporary, tap, ballet, hip hop, jazz, and lyrical
Tickets can be purchased at the door for $5 per person.
Awards will be given and scholarships for In Motion’s upcoming workshops will also be awarded.
