We all like to joke in south Louisiana that fall season is some week that falls between the blazing heat and the freezing cold.
It’s usually a time in the blink of an eye that everything turns from green to brown. For some reason, this year seems to be different. Many have noted that the leaves have changed colors, and it doesn’t look like a normal south Louisiana fall.
Some of the trees have brilliant shades of red, orange and yellow.
Leaves that were once hanging on trees for the entire summer are now stuck in the fence of a local park. And it appears that some of the colors are even more enhanced with the deep, dark blue sky behind. Enjoy it while it lasts, because we all know it’ll be gone soon.
