During the Thanksgiving holidays, Bailey’s owner Ema Haq gives back to the community in the best way he can, by sharing good food with others.

Haq says that they have been preparing to feed as many people as possible during the Thanksgiving holiday.

The restaurant has been opening its doors to those who may not be able to enjoy a warm Thanksgiving meal for 26 years. This year is no different. Haq is welcoming all people in Acadiana, from the elderly, disabled, and less fortunate to celebrate the holiday with him.

Haq says he always hopes to make each year special for those who come into the restaurant. Additionally, for people who are unable to go to the restaurant due to a physical handicap, dinner will also be delivered to homes.

Bailey’s will be offering free meals to guests on Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, November 22 from 10:30 am until 2:00 pm.

The restaurant is still taking down names for those who are hoping to join them for the Thanksgiving celebration. Those wanting to share in the generosity of Bailey’s and Ema Haq can contact the restaurant at (337) 988-6464.

Bailey’s is located at 5520-A Johnston Street in Lafayette
