This morning, KATC’s Abby Breidenbach was LIVE with the St. Thomas More Sparklers as they get ready for their “Mother’s Day Out” dance clinic.
The Sparklers will host children of all ages on Monday, November 19 in two instructional dance classes focused on giving moms a chance get in some holiday shopping, or much needed rest, and providing a safe environment for kids to just dance.
A Kids Clinic for Pre-K through 5th-grade students will be held from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm. All Dance instruction will be age appropriate. Lunch will be provided and candy an snacks will also be available for purchase. The Kid’s Clinic is $65 per child.
A Dance Team “Intensive” will begin from 12:00 pm to 3:00 pm for students from 6th to 11th grade. The session will focus on teaching proper jazz techniques and pom drills. The intensive is $50.
Students who attend the courses are asked to wear comfortable clothing and be prepared to dance, dance, dance. Those attending are also encouraged to bring canned goods for St. Joseph’s Diner.
