The Asociación Cultural Latino Acadiana will host the 16th annual Latin Music Festival on Saturday, October 6 at Parc International in Downtown Lafayette from 11:00 am to 10:00 pm.
KATC’s Abby Breidenbach was LIVE this morning at Parc International with more details on the one-day festival.
This year, Latin Music Fest will showcase Spanish Immersion Schools who will take the stage to perform beginning at 12:30 pm.
The festival will feature bands from New Orleans, Baton Rouge, and Houston as well as the 13-member local band Latin Pulse. There will also be arts and crafts from local artisans along with food provided by several restaurants and other family-friendly activities including folkloric dancers, dancing lessons and a children’s character parade.
