Acadiana Hope for a Cure Iberia Parish will hold their Kids Cancer Walk on Saturday, September 22 at City Park in New Iberia.
KATC’s Abby Breidenbach was LIVE in New Iberia with more information on tomorrow’s event.
Registration for the walk begins at 8:00 am with the walk taking place directly at 9:30 am. The cost to register is $20 for adults and $10 for children 16 and under. Children under 5 get in free. Teams of 10 or more can register for $100.
The walk is a mile long and everyone is invited to come out an enjoy a full day of fun. Food, drinks and children’s games will also be available after the walk.
Proceeds from the event will go towards establishing $1,000 grants for women and children who are battling or have battled cancer.
